Hey guys..
I wanted to write a review the day after I arrived from Budapest, but when I got back home I started to feel sick.. seems like I got a flu.. and right now I'm laying in bed, having high temperature.. feelin' like my head's gonna burst in pieces.. shit!
Well, the show was pretty late. The opening band was some Hungarian rock band, started around 9 and ended around 10pm. They suck, if you ask me!

...and then there was a long period of waiting for GNR.. and after an hour some old dude showed up on stage. He was speaking Hungarian and I didn't understood a word.. and the fans started booing and raising middle fingers. I though, SHIT! I hope they didn't cancelled the show or something.. so I asked the guy next to me what he's saying!?.. He told me that there are some "technical difficulties" and that the show will be late for another 30 minutes. So, there was around hour and a half standing in the first rows.. waiting for something to happen. DJ was playing some music and people started booing and raising the middle finger after every song he played.. so the DJ couldn't do shit about it, but to raise the volume of the stuff he was playing.
Then, FINALLY!!!
...around 11:45.. the music stopped and the whole place went dark! People started getting up, cause by that time the half of the people in front rows were sitting on the floor exhausted of standing and waiting. There was this cool sample like an intro tune that sounds like some noisy whales.

..and after couple of minutes it started.. Welcome the the jungle intro... the fans went nuts!! Axl showed up on stage and started screaming "YOU KNOW WHERE YOU AREEEEEEEE?".. WHOA!! The place exploded!!!! For me it was unbelievable... to finally see Axl after 14 long years of waiting. For the first couple of songs I couldn't believe my eyes.. that it's really HIM!.. I had some crazy ideas that I'm watching a video of him.. or that it's someone else.. I dunno... I was speecless!!
After WTTJ, Axl apologized for the technical difficulties and for being late and just started kickin in with It's So Easy. It seemed to me that he was in very good mood.. especially when he started joking with people saying funny stuff like.. "And now the most common rock question!... How you doin' people?"
There was not much talking with people thru the show.. maybe because the Hungarians are not so good in English.. I dunno!? I've found out that they mostly speak German as foreign language.
After Mr. Brownstone, they were about to play Better.. and Axl said that some of us probably already heard that song.. especially the ones with "the computers"!

).. At that time I think someone from the crowd called for Slash or someting like that.. I'm not sure.. but someone yelled something to him.. Axl just smiled and said.. "Hey, this guy is having a conversation with me!" and started another song

))
After Better Axl announced Bumblefoot.. people cheered for him, not to much.. but there was no booing or anything I thought it may happen cause lots of fans there still expect to see Slash of Duff.. and after he switched guitars.. and took the one in shape of a foot with wings (!!!) and start kicking the amazing solo.. people loved him and cheered for more!
The solo opened Live And Let Die.. and that was just amazing.. the whole bunch of fireworks thru the song... Axl started running around from one side of the stage to another.. it looked like he was in his 30's... He haven't changed a bit.. his voice is extraodinary! ...I can't forget Brain on the drumms.. whoa!.. you just HAVE to see his drumming.. he's just GREAT!!!
After LALD, they start playin Madagascar.. my favourite new song... what can I say.. I was stunned! The whole song is great.. and with all that video clips on the huge screen behind the band.. and with Axl's great voice... the song is just beautiful! After Madagascar, Axl announced Robin Finck.. and he did his solo.. the funny thing is that he played the solo acting like he don't know how to play guitar.. he sounded like he's doing his BEST to sound BAD

but all that solo had some figure and it's meaning.. but sounded very strange.. after which he started playing Sweet Child O' Mine.. .. and another WHOA!
In that moment you realize that actually he's genious on guitar.
Then Richard Fortus & Robin Finck had their solo.. it brought back some memories cause for a moment it started to look a little like Slash & Gilby solo in Paris. I got chills all over me!

That sounded really great..
You Could Be Mine kicked in and the place went nuts again! Brain was kicking the living shit out of drumms.. Axl was running all around the place screaming like mad...
Then they pulled out the piano and Dizzy had his solo... yeap, he's still brilliant on piano!
..and then The Blues! That song is kickass!! .... Maybe I'm not the right person to write a review of the show... cause everything what I've seen and heard was just perfect! The band sounds great.. and you can feel that they got the most needed chemistry together. The only thing I didn't like very much is when sometimes Richard Fortus went nuts on stage.. and when he starts playing guitar like he's trying to brake all the strings on it... that doesn't looked cool to me.. but who am I to judge.. maybe it's just me!
...after Out Ta Get Me, Knockin' On Heaven's Door and My Michelle, Axl made an announcement for a "Piano-moving song"

(November Rain).
Then the Nightrain started.. the place went nuts again.. the funny part is that on the end of the song the band started jamming so much that they've almost lost the song.. but they pulled it off real great.. I think lots of people there didn't even realize that they were improvising for couple of seconds and then just make it right... and made a perfect end of the song!
That's was all.. and the band left the stage... People were cheering for more and the Bumblefoot showed up on stage.. no band, just him...and no mic... and he started playing Don't Cry, while people were singing the whole song. That was really great idea.. I haven't seen anything like it before on any other rock show!
...and after that .. the BIG ENDING!
Paradise City... that's something that I can't describe by words...
The whole place went nuts for the last time that night.. and the whole band went nuts too

...fireworks and flames all over the place..and confetti shooting in the air filling the arena... at that time I've lost my voice..happy like pig in shit!

...cause my long-awaited wish to see GN'R, or even Axl, finally came true!!!
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY.. GOOD... FUCKING... NIGHT!!!!!!!
...and now, dear fans!.. I have something for YOU!
I smuggled in the camera... I won't say how!.. heheh.. and I made a whole bunch of pictures and videos of the show.. and for now.. I bring you the set of the best pics I made!!
